On the evening of July 22, Nanning Department Store (600712) disclosed an announcement stating that in order to further optimize the company’s business structure and enhance corporate competitiveness, the company has submitted a request for the declaration of duty-free business qualifications to the relevant departments of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and Nanning Municipal Government. .

Nanning Department Store stated that the relevant work is still in the initial stage of application. The company has not received any relevant documents from government departments, has not conducted business negotiations with any customers or partners on the operation of duty-free commodities, and has not signed any contracts or agreements. The qualification for operating duty-free commodities is a franchise qualification, and there is significant uncertainty about whether the company will eventually obtain the qualification. At present, the company's main business is still the retail business of taxable goods, and there will be no major changes in the short term.

It is understood that Nanning Department Store also has the Baoneng Department label, Baoneng Department holds 18.85% of the company's shares.
